The Simpsons: Night of the Living Treehouse of Horror

aka: The Simpsons: Night of the Living Tree House of Horror

Cue the spooky organ music: The souls of Springfield's most celebrated family are trapped at the base of the Treehouse of Horror. To save them, Bart, Maggie, Lisa, Homer and Marge must climb to the top of the tree and re-enter their slumbering bodies. In the first level, Bart must find four fuses to turn on the lights, then rescue the family dog, Santa's Little Helper, from the attic. The plot of yucky movie The Fly gets infantile when Maggie crawls into a matter transporter and morphs into a Maggie-fly. You must elude Venus fly-traps and other anti-insect hazards as you seek out the other transporter that can reunite Maggie with her body.Marge must battle armies of zombies, while Bart can utilize the unique Garlic Press Attack as he battles a vampirish Mr. Burns. Lisa must free kids from the clutches of a cannibalistic Principal Skinner, Robot Homer must find his scattered body parts and rampaging ape King Homer must destroy everything on the way to his beloved Fay Wray -- er, Marge.A zany, if rather obvious, homage to horror movies past, combined with a cheerful mix of controllable characters, moves, weapons and puzzles, make The Simpsons: Night of the Living Treehouse of Horror a fun platformer.Available now, The Simpsons: Night of the Living Treehouse of Horror is for Game Boy Color only. It is not compatible with monochrome Game Boy systems. The independent Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB) has rated the game E (Everyone) with the content descriptors Mild Violence and Comic Mischief.
