Development

Originally the game was supposed to be based on the Noddy character by Enid Blyton. The developers already created the player character sprite, so they just added a space helmet when the license fell through.

ZX Spectrum version

The Spectrum version was almost completed when a crash on the Microdrive storage system they were using caused it to be wiped. As a result, the released version was reprogrammed from scratch in a short space of time.
