A-10 Cuba! is the follow-up to the highly successful A-10 Attack! flight simulator, one of the finest ever produced for any consumer platform. A-10! is extremely realistic -- possibly too much so. The famous Warthog is flyable and even can be mastered, but its behavior is so authentic, probably only experienced real-world pilots will truly conquer it. In the real world, pilots have died flying this beast of an aircraft, this flying tank, and full reverence to those flyers is observed in the documentation and in respect to the degree of realism instilled in the software. You won't find a more true-to-life military flight sim anywhere outside a military training base. The attention to detail will astound you.

If you don't know what an Immellman is, you can still have fun with A-10 Cuba!, but the challenges of flying such an advanced aircraft may leave you frustrated. You may have to pick up a book or another, simpler and more teaching-oriented program aimed at the basics before tackling A-10 Cuba!. However, I have only a casual understanding of flight dynamics, and really got off flying, landing, taking off and just cruising the simulated environment. There's a great deal of detail in the simulation and you are never left in want of something to explore. I made a few attacks, too, and found that quite stimulating, even though I never made it back to base with a completed mission and an aircraft that didn't need to visit the repair shop.

A-10 Cuba! faithfully copies the easy maneuverability of the Air Force's A-10. Fly your way through twelve scenarios in Cuba, targeting enemy airports, bridges and convoys.

La fluidité est au rendez-vous d'A10 Cuba ; et même si le pilotage s'avère parfois délicat, on prendra un malin plaisir à larguer son imposant armement sur l'ennemi.

Featuring the best flight modeling of any Mac flight sim, A-10 Cuba asks you to pilot your "hawg" around the Caribbean, doing battle with a cigar-champing enemy. Lacking F/A-18 Korea's beauty and mission-creation capabilities, A-10 Cuba still offers great game play, varied missions, and rough-and-tumble network play.

If you want to feel as if you actually went to flight school and put in hard time to learn how to fly an A-10, play this game. If, on the other hand, you simply want to fly fast and free and be done with it, give this game a miss. The amount of effort you must put in to learn to fly the simulated plane is just not worth it otherwise.
