The Good
The names Hironobu Sakaghchi, Akira Toriyama and Nobuo Uematsu can tell a lot of experienced RPG players what they are going to be going through. You can tell their hands were involved in this game.
The music never got boring, well....except the battle music (as with any traditional RPG).
The anime certainly has the Toriyama fell to it. Although the game is mostly using bright colours, it still fits the bill as a Toriyama game. If you are into Toriyama's work, this doesnt disappoint.
The battle program is easy to get used to, some games you really have to take your time to find everything out, this was rather straight forward.
The Bad
As an experienced RPG, I am rather critical at how easy the game is compared to the many others I have played. I expected this game to be harder.
The story itself was rather cheesy. Although it was rather funny at times, it didnt fit the bill. It could have been a bit more complex. Although the story has Sakaguchi's touch, it still could have been better developed.
Marumaro was rather annoying at times, its his voice. Although it is his character, I didnt like it too much.
The Bottom Line
Well worth the money, even if you have to put up with its rather simplistic storyline, and Marumaro's annoying voice. The game is certainly the way to paving the Xbox 360's mark into Japan. As for the rest of the world, Im not sure if everyone else has the same taste for RPGs as I do.
