Description official descriptions
NFL Blitz gives the National Football League the same over-the-top treatment that Midway had used so effectively with NBA Jam. Features include exaggerated muscle-bound player models, "turbo" buttons, fast action, and some pretty wild rules changes (like 30 yards for a first down!). Blitz is nothing if not a unique football gaming experience.
Player taunts ("This is MY HOUSE!"), unpenalized late hits, and amusing running commentary from the announcers ("That was totally uncalled for -- but awfully fun to watch!") all add to the game's violent charm.

Fun-simple gameplay and moves that anyone can do. Multiple options for running, and decent graphics. No simulation controls and well-balanced for any player.
The only drawback is no 4-player mode for more addicting gameplay,
The Bottom Line
I highly would have anyone in this in their collection if it's the Nintendo 64 version or the Playstation. Or, if it's the arcade game anywhere. You'll be addicted for hours or years. It's more better than the Madden NFL games cause there's no simulation controls or slow-downs that ruins the capture the action of the sport in real life. So, it's worth it your time.
