This compilation includes:
- Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri (base game)
- Sid Meier's Alien Crossfire (expansion pack)
Both the original game and the expansion have been updated to versions 4.0 and 2.0 respectively. The only remaining officially released update not included in the retail package is the "Win 2000/XP Update" (version 5.0) compatibility patch for the base game released in 2002, which does not alter the game mechanics. However, the GOG.com digital release includes it.
