Just Adventure (B+)
For anyone who is a fan of Stephen King or just a horror aficionado, F13 is worth a purchase. It would be great to see this original concept taken a step further and have available a Clive Barker (a Hellraiser/Pinhead screensaver!) or Dean Koontz series of utilities. My only legitimate beef is the few proofreading errors I found in "Everything's Eventual." They do cast a blemish on an otherwise polished product. Maybe we can blame these oversights on the F13 key.

Stephen King's F13 is exactly what it claims to be. It is an entertaining computer-based horror story with some mini-games and system add-ons thrown into the package. It is not something which will keep you occupied for weeks on end. The components included are all very high quality and should appeal very much to Stephen King fans and horror fans in general....but not hard-core gamers.

Stephen Kingās F13 is an interesting collection of digital frightware. Unless you are a rabid King fan, there is nothing compelling about this product. It is not so much a full-on game but a collection of interactive software inspired by the works of Stephen King.
