Duckman: The Graphic Adventures of a Private Dick
Description official descriptions
Duckman: The Graphic Adventures of a Private Dick is based on the popular USA Network animated series Duckman.
In this game, Duckman has been replaced by the new Duckman (who looks more like a super-hero than the old Duckman) and you have to take back your show. As the title might suggest, it is an adventure game, in the LucasArts-style.

Like the show itself, it's good for some cheap laughs.
The Good
I imagine that only viewers of the Duckman show have the most interest in playing this game. If that's true for you then you will appreciate how the graphics are as great (or awful) as the original show so that you will feel like you get to interact with the cartoon world you are so used to seeing on TV.
And just like the show, this game has plenty of the crude humor that we all can't help but laugh at...even if it's at the expense of those poor teddy bears.
The Bad
The game-controls are very limited and at times frustrating. The two options that you will usually get is a "thinking-Duckman"and an "angry-Duckman". Other options like "pick-up item" will only show up when you can interact with that item so that kind of spoils the fun since you cannot try to do a bunch of things to everything the way you would in other point-and-click adventures.
The Bottom Line
If you don't like the show Duckman, you will definitely hate this game. But if you like dirty jokes, teddy bears in a blender or a farting Grand-ma-ma, then this is must have!

The Good
I liked the fact that it was based on a cartoon that I had previously watched on TV. Some of the plot was extremely funny in parts and the characters were one of a kind...to say the least.
The Bad
Gameplay was a tad bit tricky, especially without the manual...At times the game became boring and I had to gain motivation to actually get up and try, over and over again, to solve the story. The plot wasn't really going anywhere and I felt really disappointed with the ending, plus the sound and game play kept stuffing up on my computer.
The Bottom Line
If you are a point-and-click fanatic then I guess you will kind of like it. The fact is is that it has no depth, nor does it really relate to the TV cartoon version which was kind of disappointing. I was depressed for weeks after I actually traded it for Full Throttle...Duckman does not even compare to it.

Trivia
Cancelled US release
The US title for this game was supposed to be Duckman: The Legend of The Fall, but it was never released because of a number of issues: 1) the declining popularity of the show, 2) the declining popularity of the Adventure Game genre, and 3) Playmates getting out of game software development.
Apparently things were different in Germany, where a localized version of the game was released (go figure.)
