Street Fighter IV è il ritorno che tutti quanti ci auguravamo di un marchio storico dell'industria videoludica, in grado di mettere insieme vecchio e nuovo in un modo che non esitiamo a dire andrebbe fatto studiare all'università dei videogiochi. Un comparto tecnico eccellente, delle meccaniche di gioco profonde e rinnovate insieme al carisma classico della serie, fanno di questo gioco un must have non solo per tutti quelli che vogliono definirsi dei veri amanti dei picchiaduro, ma anche per chi è alla ricerca di un'occasione per sperimentare un genere dove il titolo Capcom è dominatore incontrastato.

Es un juego excelente, con una capacidad casi ilimitada de sorprender y entretener a medida que vas descubriendo a sus personajes, sus movimientos y las tácticas que se pueden desarrollar en cada momento. En este sentido, aunque no sea un género muy abundante en PC, ofrece algo que le acerca a los géneros más establecidos de esta plataforma y es posiblemente su mayor argumento a la hora de convencer a los potenciales jugadores. Si ya tienes muy visto el tipo de competición que se vive en géneros como el RTS, el FPS o el MMO, Street Fighter IV puede ser visto como una “exótico” destino en el que probar un nuevo sabor de medirse contra otros jugadores a través de compatible.

Nun zum in der Einleitung erwähnten Geschwärme: Street Fighter ist für mich, und wird es auch immer bleiben, ein Stück Videospielgeschichte. Der vierte Teil ist für den PC, samt den neuen Features, 1:1 das gleiche - nur die Steuerung fühlt sich verständlicherweise besser auf den Konsolenversionen an. Manche Spiele sind eben doch mit Gedanken an einen Controller und nicht an ein Keyboard plus Maus erschaffen worden.

Street Fighter IV è davvero il sogno che diventa realtà per tutti quei giocatori che hanno speso le loro fortune nei coin-op durante gli anni ’90, per non parlare di quelli che hanno spaccato joypad e joystick nelle varie edizioni casalinghe. Lo spirito è rimasto intatto, lo stile non è cambiato di una virgola e tutto sommato è un bene che sia così. Certo, si combatte sempre su un solo piano e il 3D è relegato a orpello estetico, ma un’operazione di make-up eccessiva avrebbe finito con il tradire le aspettative del pubblico, uno di quelli decisamente sensibili oltretutto. Imperdibile.

Der weichgespülte Boygroup-Titelsong ist eine Qual für die Ohren, ansonsten leistet sich Street Fighter 4 keine groben Schnitzer. Aber seien Sie gewarnt! Wenn man einmal tiefer in das Kampfsystem, die Charakter-Eigenheiten und die Combo-Möglichkeiten einsteigt, ist man bereits süchtig und macht regelrecht eine Wissenschaft aus dem Spiel. Eine Sache fehlt allerdings doch: eine Art Online-Party-Modus, in dem ich mit mehreren Freunden zusammen in einer Lobby abhänge, sich immer zwei Jungs verdreschen und die anderen zuschauen und dumme Sprüche ablassen. Die größte Gaudi gibt’s aber eh offline bei einer geselligen lokalen Runde. Ich rate übrigens dringend zu einem vernünftigen Controller.

Wenn sich jemand dieses Meisterwerk allen Ernstes mit Tastatur antut, hat das nichts mehr mit Masochismus zu tun - das ist pure Verachtung gegenüber Street Fighter! Stimmt das Equipment, ist Capcoms Edelprügler auch auf der sonst so spärlich mit guter Beat-em-Up-Kost verwöhnten Windows-Plattform ein spielerischer Hochgenuss: Die zusätzlichen Grafikfilter hätte man sich zwar sparen können, aber dank hoher Auflösung und optischer Verfeinerungen sieht das ohnehin schon wundervolle SF4 besser aus denn je - obwohl das Anti-Aliasing spürbar zu Lasten der Geschwindigkeit geht. Aber auch mit runter geregelten Details werdet ihr so schnell in keinem anderen Spiel so viel Spaß am Prügeln und verprügelt werden haben wie in Street Fighter 4! Auch wenn der Online-Modus in Sachen Zuverlässigkeit und Lag-Freiheit einiges zu wünschen übrig lässt.

Street Fighter IV voor de pc biedt fighter-liefhebbers nagenoeg dezelfde ervaring als die van de Xbox 360- of de PS3-versie. De gameplay is dan ook helemaal hetzelfde, maar als je een goede pc hebt, dan zal Street Fighter IV er net iets beter uitzien. Daarbij is het tof dat je met de genoemde shaders het uiterlijk (subtiel) aan kunt passen. Ook lijkt de snelheid van de game meer overeen te komen met de arcade-versie van de fighter. Capcom heeft dan ook puik werk afgeleverd.

A edição para computadores oferece diversas opções gráficas de configuração, permitindo rodar de forma decente mesmo em máquinas modestas. Os novos filtros visuais são interessantes - ainda que não cruciais para a experiência - e fãs de jogos de luta vão se entreter bastante com a opção de salvar replays de combates.

Zugegeben, ich bin ein Fan der ersten Stunde. Allein deshalb führt kein Weg an Street Fighter 4 vorbei. Aber selbst wenn Sie jetzt erst einsteigen oder noch gar nie ins Genre geschnuppert haben, bietet dieses Spiel die absolut beste Möglichkeit dazu. Sämtliche Kerndisziplinen – sei es beim Kampfsystem, der Technik oder der Spielbalance – meistert Street Fighter 4 mit Bravour. Die unzähligen Modi und Charaktere sorgen für monatelangen Spaß. Ich mach‘s kurz: Künftige Prügelspiele werden es verdammt schwer haben, an Capcoms Straßenkämpfern vorbeizuziehen.

I already see myself teetering on the edge of total commitment, to the extent that I'm seriously considering dropping money on one of those high-end MadCatz arcade sticks. If you're anything like me, then Street Fighter IV is certainly worth your money, and more significantly, your time. Old habits die hard, and muscles evidently have a long memory. Certains reprochent à Street Fighter 4 son nombre de coups limité et un rythme de jeu trop lent. Il y a pourtant de quoi faire, et le jeu est excellent. Tel quel, il a tout pour séduire les initiés comme les ignorants : il ne s’agit pas d’un titre pour le grand public mais pour tout public, et c'est une belle prouesse de la part de Capcom d'avoir atteint ce but. Dommage que la partie réseau soit presque infâme, plus ou moins opérationnelle certes, mais pas du tout au point. On remercie donc le Games for Windows Live d'avoir gâché la fête, même si Capcom a sans doute sa part de responsabilité.

Прилично сэкономив на внятном повествовании, Capcom не пожалела сил на сами поединки. SF 4 — двумерный файтинг, близкий по духу второй части, но исполненный в 3D. Популярный нынче cel-shading прекрасно передал фирменный «мультяшный» стиль сериала. На сочные текстуры и богатую анимацию любо-дорого смотреть, новые фильтры успешно скрывают немногочисленные огрехи, оператор с наслаждением смакует феерические ультракомбо и головокружительные броски. А какие тут арены! Без разницы, где проходит схватка — на залитой солнцем взлетной полосе в Африке, в непролазных джунглях Амазонки или трущобах Восточной Азии. «Задники» настолько хороши, что так и норовят отвлечь внимание от боя.

Street Fighter IV è un picchiaduro che basa le sue fortune quasi esclusivamente sull'aspetto grafico, e non a torto. Infatti, su PC performanti e dotati di buoni schermi, c'è effettivamente da stropicciarsi gli occhi. Per il resto, preso come picchiaduro in sé, la stessa Capcom, in campo bidimensionale, ha offerto decisamente di meglio. Più che un passo avanti, questo gioco rappresenta un deciso passo indietro: niente di nuovo sotto il sole. Purtroppo, data l'accoglienza che il pubblico gli ha dimostrato, temo che si andrà avanti su questa strada. Su PC non c'è storia, sfida vinta per mancanza di concorrenti, su console c'è probabilmente di meglio, sono gusti. Personalmente, ritengo il Third Strike ancora il massimo esponente nel genere, oltre che quello più adatto ai picchiatori duri e puri.
