3DO Magazine (UK) (Dec, 1995)
The most lavishly produced ALG game yet with car crashes, exploding boats and even a runaway bus. Varied locations include a small Southern town, Chicago and South America. The sense of humour is still going strong, but there's no new gameplay elements and the difficulty level is the fiercest yet.
Electric Playground (Oct 03, 1995)
Really, if you're into blasting at dirtbags and pretending to be a living room bound Detective John McLean, then by all means check Drug Wars out. I smiled more than once and standing up and shooting at the television can be interestingly therapeutic in its own way. Just don't expect Charles Bronsan to suddenly make a surprise appearance at your place just 'cause he's heard you picked up this hot new shoot game for your 3DO. Bronsan never fired anything fluorescent orange.
GamePro (US) (Nov, 1995)
If you chuckle through low-budget cop flicks, blasting through these combat scenes might plaster a goofy grin on your face. Just rent it, though.
Game Zero (Mar, 1996)
Shoot, shoot, shoot! Missions, missions, missions! Sure, killing is cool, but ALG shooters usually suck and this one didn't do much to change my opinion. I wish you didn't get docked everytime you kill an innocent... GEEEEZ, talk about picky.
