Electric Playground (Aug 13, 1995)
They are scheduled to start releasing games for the Playstation and the Saturn, after all. Well, let's hope that they continue down this new stretch of road they're on, because with Mazer, ALG has produced a very enjoyable little excursion. Especially, for fans of Berserk, Robotron and Smash TV, three of my personal all time favourites.
GamePro (US) (Nov, 1995)
While hardly amazing, Mazer has its moments. It'll satisfy most 3DO owners who've been thirsting for a little action.
Coming Soon Magazine (Sep, 1995)
If you enjoy shooting and protecting yourself, saving lives, and short levels, than this game may be for you. I personally do not think this was a great game, but it is challenging, and if you want a challenge, then give it a try.
3DO Magazine (UK) (Oct, 1995)
A nice idea - Gauntlet with bigger, digitised sprites - but fatally flawed by appalling gameplay and miniscule levels. Depressingly poor.
