The target audience will be quite disappointed by the lack of any real nudity, and everyone else will simply be aghast at the fact that such a poorly made game was allowed to be unleashed upon humanity.
Defunct Games (Jun 17, 2006)
All in all, the game cannot even be considered a game and is more a rarity from the early next generation game days than anything else. For every sucker born every minute there is a Plumber's Don't Wear Ties wating for them!
Retro Game Reviews (Apr 27, 2015)
Plumbers Don't Wear Ties is a truly awful, sexist game with zero redeeming features. Personally, I think it was a surreal joke by the developers and they purposely made a cheap, terrible game to get some pun intended!
Possibly the worst game ever to make it into the VideoGames office - and that's really saying something. Plumber's Don't Wear Ties is an exercise in idiocy, in which you control the decisions of two boneheads named John and Jane and try to get them to go out, etc. No, there's not even some crappy full motion video; It's all stills. That's right, still pictures of the director's friends acting like goofballs and delivering bad voiceovers. Not even the promise of some naked pictures could save this disc from becoming a joke around here. Avoid this one at all costs, it looks like a bad Public Access show and that's the pits.

Upon inspection of the box, I found a game which was entitled "Plumbers Don't Wear Ties." As a rookie officer, I was unaware of the crime being committed by selling this game. After purchasing the game (evidence #20647), me and my partner, officer Kohn, proceeded to insert the game (following all of the manuals instructions to ensure this was properly done) into my 3DO multimedia console (evidence number FZ-10). Immediately after insertion, I recalled reading about this software title and the crimes that it had committed against every 3DO owner in the US. Officer Kohn immediately took the controls and began playing the "dating simulator" as it was called on the box. Immediately, we were thrust into the atrocity that this software was. Unable to escape the seemingly endless onslaught of bad voice acting, countless grainy still pictures, and a constantly decreasing score, we continued to play.
