Even if you’re played the original game to death, there’s no doubt whatsoever that it’s well worth experiencing again on the 3DS. This is truly classic stuff and simply never grows old – from the moment the camera pans around Kokiri Forest during the game’s opening sequence to the first time you ride upon the back of your trusty horse Epona, you cannot help but be totally and utterly enthralled by this timeless piece of software. With the 3DS currently struggling to prove its worth to a gaming public that is slowly transitioning from DS to iPhone and iPad, Zelda Ocarina of Time 3D illustrates beyond all doubt that Nintendo offers a level of depth, enjoyment and unmitigated gaming bliss that simply cannot be acquired anywhere else. If you own a Nintendo 3DS then you need to own this remarkable game, and if you don’t then we heartily recommend you invest in one sharpish.
Bref, Ocarina of Time 3D est un chef-d’Ɠuvre que tu ne peux pas rater !
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time has been rated the best game of all time, but is this really true? Can one game truly be ‘the best game’? Ocarina of Time was the first game in the Legend of Zelda series to bring us the beautiful 3D land of Hyrule, brilliant plot and great gameplay all in one. It is ironic also that a game based on time travel has lasted the test of time so well, being over 10 years since its original release on the Nintendo 64. If you’ve played the game before, Ocarina of Time 3D is still a worthy purchase as a first time hand held experience and a gorgeous update to the games graphics. For first timers to the Legend of Zelda series or just Ocarina of Time; this is a great game to start with and definitely one you should experience – actually let me correct myself – it isn’t just a great game
it is a masterpiece in gaming history.
Giant Bomb (Jun 20, 2011)
After more than a decade, portability and a lovely visual makeover are just bonus features for a game that holds up as well as Ocarina of Time.
Oldies Rising (Jan 14, 2012)
Gamegravy (Jul 31, 2011)
Games like The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time is the reason gamers continue to play games. This is a timeless classic that only seems to get better with age. Even though I have my minor complaints this does not take away from the perfection that Nintendo had created thirteen years ago. I really had a hard time deciding what score to give, I didn’t want to sound bias or like a fanboy, but I came to the realization that this game is one of the reasons why I and an army of gamers are Nintendo fanboys. The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time is as near perfect is a game gets and I’m glad a new generation of gamers get to experience it now as well.
RetroManiac (Aug, 2011)
Ocarina of Time sigue siendo una aventura con ligeros toques RPG tremenda.
Not only is it fun to play on a portable device that can slip into your pocket, but the 3D graphics add to the colorful, detailed world. Better depth and eye-popping effects help make this remake even more immersive than the 1998 classic. In fact, complete the main story and the Master Quest mode will be accessible, adding all-new puzzles and redesigned dungeons for an extra challenge and further replayability. The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D is a highly enjoyable game with great graphics, smooth control, and a ton of adventuring for gamers on the go.
Wiiloveit (Aug 03, 2011)
Overall, Ocarina of Time 3D developer Grezzo could have simply made the game appear in 3D, added Touch Screen functionality, and released that as it's own product to sell massive quantities. Instead, they completely redid the game, making it ooze quality, and they did not feel the need to rush it as a launch title either. The amount of care they showed in releasing this game on the 3DS is very clear, and not only is it an absolute gaming masterpiece (and one of the best games of all time) made better, it is the clear reason to own the system right now.
Armchair Empire, The (Jun 23, 2011)
Truly one of the best games ever made.
Pocket Gamer UK (Jun 06, 2011)
It's a hefty package, and one that is completely essential whether you've played through the game multiple times before or not. In fact, we'd go as far as to say that this game is worth buying the entire console for. It's a testament to the power of Nintendo's game design that, a decade and a bit later, Ocarina of Time 3D still feels so current. The benchmark for 3DS gaming has just been officially raised.
We Got This Covered (Jun 18, 2011)
You cannot miss this one. In fact, you owe it to yourself to pick this game up, even if you have the original cartridge. It’s just that good. The game’s mechanics have translated to the hand-held 3D Dual-Screen incredibly well, with some great enhancements that make the game even easier (and more fun) to play. Let’s hope Nintendo will remake Majora’s Mask or even, A Link to the Past, next.
The Legend of Zelda : Ocarina of Time 3D n'a rien perdu de sa superbe en passant sur 3DS.
Gameblog.fr (Jun 16, 2011)

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D is not just a good game but it's a great game and really showcases the capabilities of Nintendo's latest and greatest console, the 3DS. With amazing visuals, a sturdy control system and 3D to die for, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D is a must have title for the 3DS and if you're into adventure games, than it doesn't get more adventurous than this. Buy this game, lock yourself away and get ready for the ride of your life... again.

Back in 1998 Ocarina Of Time was ample reason enough to buy an N64. Today, history repeats, as the first stereoscopic 3D Zelda game is reason enough to buy the company's latest handheld. Even for veterans of Hyrule, the update is fresh and assured enough to warrant the expense. And for those players yet to experience the Ocarina of Time? Well, no videogame better expresses the creative might of Nintendo. And in this land of fairies, spiders, giant talking trees, squawking chickens and timeless songs, you are sure to find something truly unforgettable.
AusGamers (Jul 06, 2011)
Ocarina of Time’s poise and pacing were utterly perfect, and that hasn’t changed at all for this iteration, despite the passage of time since release being some 12+ years (it’s not quite 13) - a testament to the timelessness of the game. If you want adventure, discovery, action, puzzle-solving, exploration and an uplifting and classic tale told in the interactive form, this time delivered in glorious stereoscopic 3D, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time is exactly what you’re looking for. More than 10 years on, it’s still worth the price of admission.
Good Game (Jul 12, 2011)
Ocarina is a perfect game to be remastered. It was way ahead of its time when it was released, which means even thirteen years later it hardly feels like an old game, especially after the face lift. This is absolutely the definitive version of one of gaming's most defining games. Like I said on Spawn Point, I can't really give this anything less than 10 out of 10 rubber chickens.
GameFocus (Jun, 2011)
Majora’s Mask, Wind Waker and Twilight Princess all have their charm and reasons why someone would prefer one over another. To me, Ocarina of Time was - and remains - the best Zelda 3D game ever and replaying Link’s greatest adventure on a 3DS after all these years brought back several amazing memories. There’s still a part of me who questions the reason why Nintendo didn’t release this remake on day one alongside the handheld. It would have incentified hardware sales considerably. Still, the game is releasing this weekend and every single 3DS owner around the world needs to own it.
At the end of the day it can be summed up that The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time finds a new home on Nintendo’s newest handheld console and the visual and gameplay improvements that have been crafted help make a game that suits the modern generation of gamers today. Although the core gameplay has been left untouched, there is just enough added or changed to make it not only interesting to veterans of the game, but it introduces the title in such a way that newbies will find much to love here. I can’t help but recommend this game, and if you are still reading this review you should just stop now and run down to your nearest gaming store to reserve or pick up this must have title.
Digital Chumps (Jun 17, 2011)
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D is a near perfect redesign of one of gaming’s most iconic titles. Everything from the original game holds up quite well by modern standards and the new look almost makes the experience feel brand new. Though I’m a little disappointed by the decision to not include a fully orchestrated soundtrack, everything else about the game was either mimicked to perfection or improved in every way imaginable. If you were an early 3DS owner that’s looking to find the perfect game to immerse you in your handheld, this is it. And, if you were waiting to buy a 3DS until they actually made some great titles, this is the game that you were waiting for. Whether or not you’ve experienced Ocarina of Time before, this is the epitome of the game’s existence and does (almost) everything to revive the legend all over again. Must Buy.
HCL.hr Gaming Portal (Nov 20, 2011)

Was fĂŒr ein Abenteuer!
MMGN (Jun 23, 2011)
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D is one of the best games ever made. It is just as you remember it and looks stunning with fantastic remastered visuals. There isn’t much in terms of new content, but there didn't need to be when we're talking about one of the few true masterpieces of gaming. Ocarina of Time has aged better than any other game from its era and is the perfect nostalgic experience for veteran players, and a piece of Nintendo magic for newcomers.
DS-x2 (2011)
The mark of a truly great game is its ability to remain relevant and impressive years later and Ocarina of Time 3D proves exactly why it is one of the greatest games ever. The gameplay holds up remarkably well, showing exactly why it became the template for all action adventure titles that followed, with great dungeons, side quests, items and locations gelling together to give an incredibly fulfilling 25 hour plus adventure. The new visuals definitely give the game a much needed face lift and further help to accentuate the fantastic art direction of the game and the inclusion of the mirrored Master Quest and Boss Mode ensures that the game is undoubtedly the must buy title for all 3DS owners.
Hooked Gamers (Jul 06, 2011)
Nevertheless, it is hard to really find fault with Ocarina of Time 3D. Some may balk at paying full-price for a decade-old game, but it’s one that’s been lovingly updated to look as good as any other game and works perfectly on 3DS. Furthermore it’s got the Master Quest (which changes the dungeons completely) and a Boss Challenge mode added in. It is most definitely worth the price – if Deus Ex was re-released using Unreal Engine 3 I would pay full price for that too. A must-have for any 3DS owner, for sure. Yes, I’m talking to you 3DS Owner Person. Buy it.
GamingBolt (Jun 26, 2011)
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D is one game you must have as a part of your collection, granted you own a Nintendo 3DS or plan to buy one. This game takes me back years ago and brings that wonderful experience I had that is something that happens rarely with games. Only this time it was more than that, it was an experience that cannot be described in words, nor 2D pictures, but only by play the game. The only flaw that I saw in the game was the camera system and not entirely at all. The Orchestrated music was wonderful and it could not be easier for my Grandmother to jump into the gameplay with that much ease. Make sure that this is on your must have list and if you don’t have a 3DS
you might want one for this game.
Computer Bild Spiele (Jun 17, 2011)
Game Informer Magazine (Jun 17, 2011)
Ocarina of Time 3D is my new favorite way to play one of my top 10 games of all time. Its updated visuals look great in 3D, the touchscreen streamlines inventory issues, and aiming with the gyroscope feels like much more than a gimmick. Whether you’re a newcomer to the series or a Zelda veteran, this game needs to be in your 3DS collection.
Game Freaks 365 (Jul 15, 2011)
With Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time the Nintendo 3DS finally gets a game that makes the system worth owning. It is a relatively long game, easily lasting over ten hours with all of the side-quests, although it is not very difficult. It also includes Master Quest, which is basically the same game except everything is reversed and you take more damage. Diehard fans of the series and newcomers alike are bound to be blown away by the upgraded graphics and the gameplay that is just as good today as it was in 1997. I certainly would not call it the best game ever, but the commitment to sound level design makes it a cut above the rest. Ocarina of Time set the standard for what an action-adventure game should be. Now it does the same for a new generation of gamers.
Fragland.net (Jul 24, 2011)
This 3D remake of Ocarina of Time is as we expected: a beautiful adventure and one of the best games ever, but with better graphics and some handy improvements like motion controls and the Master Quest. Those who have never played this Zelda before have no reason to not buy it, and those who checked it out in an earlier incarnation won't only have fun with the nostalgia but also be surprised with the Master Quest and great 3D images
Game Invader (Jul 17, 2011)
In a nutshell: the definitive version of the highest-rated game of all time. An essential purchase.
GameSpy (Jun 17, 2011)
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3DS isn't the greatest game of all time; it's not even my favorite Zelda game. It is, however, a sterling example of epic 3D adventure done right -- the likes of which you won't find on any portable until Nintendo announces an original adventure or gives The Wind Waker the 3D treatment. I'd prefer something new, but if I'm going to relive decade-old stories, this is a helluva way to do it.
WiiDSFrance (Jun 19, 2011)
AllRPG (Dec 22, 2011)
Again, the game was already great and what developer Grezzo added really makes the game even better, but I’m sure many of you can admit that there’s some room for even more. Despite that small concession, just remember this: If you ever have a hankering to play Ocarina of Time and you have a 3DS, play this version. Don’t get a 3DS for Ocarina. Get it for Mario or Kid Icarus or other titles that use or will use the 3D effect to make games you couldn’t experience anywhere else. Once you’ve got a 3DS, though, make sure to pick Ocarina of Time 3D up as well.
Thunderbolt Games (Sep 11, 2011)
It’s easy to assume that people will want to play this solely for the sake reliving old times, regardless of how well or poorly things have aged. Nintendo could have simply rereleased it without improving a thing, and people would have eaten it up just as well. But once you look past all fan-worship and hype, you’ll discover just how well the game stands on its own. It addresses the numerous flaws of the original version, and remedies it with a vastly improved control scheme and item menu. The puzzles and enemies aren’t challenging, but the unlockable boss gauntlet and Master Quest certainly are. The updated graphics add plenty in terms of atmosphere and setting; it makes Hyrule come to life in your hands. The story might be shallow, but it is still presented well. Besides, there’s nothing quite like watching Link approach the Master Sword and remove it from its shadowed pedestal for the first time. Those kinds of moments are what define a gaming experience, no matter how old they are.
RPGFan (Jul 21, 2011)
A must buy for both Zelda fans and newcomers, this is the best game to hit the 3DS yet.
Excellent sur N64, The Legend of Zelda : The Ocarina of Time 3D l’est tout en autant aujourd’hui sur Nintendo 3DS.
Like most gamers of a certain age, I knew precisely what to expect when I started playing The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D. In the two or three years that followed the release of the original Nintendo 64 version of the game in 1998, I spent so much time with the title that I eventually became immune to its charms. I memorized the dungeons, the enemies, the puzzles and the secrets. As I sat down recently to try my hand at the 3DS update, I already knew that my return to Hyrule in 2011 on the occasion of the franchise’s 25th anniversary would wind up being a generally enjoyable but somewhat melancholy walk down memory lane, one that would likely prompt me to comment on how unkind the passage of time is to even the most beloved of the industry’s classics.

This is the best opportunity you have to witness one of the freshest and most uplifting, enlightening, and exciting games of all time. I believe that it is your unwritten duty to experience this timeless classic and appreciate why so many gamers would blissfully award this game a perfect score.

Though its roots show through from time to time, the improved visuals remove any barrier of entry that age may have posed. The new elements enhance the core adventure to create the definitive version of this classic game, making Ocarina of Time 3D the best way to embark on (or relive) this landmark adventure.

The bottom line is that this is essentially the same experience that debuted in 1998. If you're ready to repeat said experience or missed out on it originally, then this version is probably worth picking up. Though it's almost certainly going to shift thousands if not millions of 3DS consoles, it's probably not worth buying a system solely for it.
