Nintendo Life (Nov 21, 2014)
We had to try not to repeat ourselves too much with this review, but Vacation Adventures: Park Ranger 2 made that very difficult indeed. It's almost entirely the same game as the first, only with new areas to pick apart and a few slight alterations to the formula. So having said that; if you liked the first then this provides more of the same, and if you didn't then this won't change your mind. The visuals and relaxing atmosphere continue to hold up, making this a viable choice for object-hunting fanatics, but other than that it's a bog-standard experience that brings nothing new to the overly cluttered table.
Brash Games (Aug 15, 2015)
Overall, Vacation Adventures: Park Ranger 2 is a predictably shallow experience that would probably please those who have exhausted the ever growing population of games of this kind, but if you want an engaging, fun puzzler with lots of variety look elsewere.
Pure Nintendo (Dec 08, 2014)
Overall, I feel this is a quality hidden object game the same as its predecessor. As a package it offers more than most of its 3DS contemporaries . If you’re a genre fan and enjoyed the first game, you’ll enjoy this sequel also as it’s more of the same. Much like returning to a favorite holiday retreat, you’ll find yourself in familiar surroundings yet still managing to have fresh experiences.
