Description official description
EverQuest II: The Shadow Odyssey is the 5th expansion to EverQuest II. The expansion adds a new realm called the Ether, twenty new explorable zones, many new quests (including five new heritage quests), two new deities, new dungeons, and new mounts. The expansion also introduces new mission rewards called Void Shards, which can be traded to new NPCs or used by player crafters for new equipment. While the level cap remains at 80, the achievement point cap is raised to 200.
The game provides access to content from all previous EverQuest II expansions and adventure packs. Some boxed retail versions include a pewter bear figurine, modeled after the new in-game dire bear mount.
