The Zombie Island of Dr. Ned is the first downloadable content (DLC) for Borderlands.

It takes the player to Jakobs Cove, a small town owned by the Jakobs Corporation and situated on a swampy island. There, an experiment from a certain Dr. Ned has gone completely awry, leaving the town flooded with zombies. The game contains new missions, set in the aforementioned environment and different kinds of zombies as enemies. There are no new weapons however and the level cap has not been increased.
