Jibun de Tsukuru Nintendo DS Guide
Jibun de Tsukuru Nintendo DS Guide, which translates to My Creation: Nintendo DS Guide, is a digital tour guide utility. The downloadable DSiWare application software allows the user to create and manage digital images, sound recordings, and informatory notes about select areas or places located throughout Japan. The software allows up to ten different locations to be saved, and then it can be transferred and shared through wireless communication to any DS system being used in the area.
The software attempts to create a community created catalog of opinions and information regarding several interesting landmarks or locations for commoners or tourists to visit. Users are able to keep track of what segments of information they have experienced through a check system.
Developed by Nintendo's EAD Tokyo Group, the developers ideas was for people and businesses to create self-narrated guides for any event or location (like menus for a restaurant or information about an art exhibit).
