Speak & Spell Online
Description
Speak & Spell Online is an attempt to recreate, from the author's memory, the function of a Speak & Spell toy online. As the author did not have a working Speak & Spell, he was not able to recreate all the modes. The program will say a word then you must spell it. The program will then say whether you spelled the word correctly or not. The program is controlled by mouse and emulates the sounds and voice of the original.

Development
In 2002, Mr. Smith needed practice with his Flash ActionScript programming. As he had just purchased an old Speak & Spell online, he decided to emulate that. Unfortunately, his Speak & Spell did not work. As such, Mr. Smith had to improvise. Mr. Smith has stated he has moved on from Flash programming so the Speak & Spell will not be improved. Mr. Smith had planned to do a Speak & Maths emulation but he abandoned that when he abandoned Flash.
