Argo Adventure

The year is 2270. War rages between corporations over space resources. Eighteen months ago, huge supplies of rare resource were discovered under the surface of planet NB3216A. I.D.C. corporation quickly established a secret base combined with refinery in order to mine the resource important for military industry. Few weeks after the start of the mining operation there was a fire and the connection with the base was quickly severed. I.D.C. quickly sent out the scout unit patrolling in the near vicinity of the planet. During the landing sequence, the shuttle with most of the team from the unit is destroyed by the defense systems of the base. The final surviving member of the unit is the only one who can discover the secret of the Argo base.

Argo Adventure is a Czech-developed first-person sci-fi adventure game. The player can move around in 3D rendered environment, similar to Myst. All actions are performed by mouse. The player must pay close attention to supplies of the oxygen, indicators of hunger and thirst and occasional time limits for certain actions (e.g. overheating nuclear reactor). The inventory is limited both by size and the weight limit, some places are too narrow to carry certain items.
