Kurzum ist Dogz eine gelungene Übertragung des bekannten PC-Spiels auf den Game Boy Color, die ohne Einschränkungen auch für jüngere Spielfreunde geeignet ist und lange Zeit Spielspaß und Abwechslung bietet.

There's really nothing here to keep you interested -- Dogz is a decent virtual pet simulator, but virtual pets are only things to use for minutes at a time, and not something you'll want to keep permanently in your Game Boy Color system. I don't really see too many people playing with their dogz for hours on end. Pet it, feed it, and turn it off.

Your dog's stats change very slowly over time, so there's really nothing to do other than to turn your Game Boy on, watch your dog run around the screen, and wonder why you're wasting your time with this title. It's not a game in the truest sense of the word; instead, it's more like an exercise in philosophy: Why did this title get made? Will people really play it? Will schoolchildren care about it when they could be playing Pokemon instead? What else could I be doing with my time?

Wow! Es gibt wirklich keinen Grund, für Catz oder Dogz schlappe 70 Schleifen hinzublättern. Und da bei Dogz sowohl die Grafik als auch der Sound ein wenig schlechter sind, macht sich dieses obendrein in der Wertung bemerkbar. Ab ins Tierheim!
