Fractured Soul is an action/puzzle platform game that is played across both screens of the Nintendo 3DS at the same time. You play the role of Jake DeSual, suffering from amnesia and stranded on an outpost in deep space you have to fight your way out against a variety of hostiles.
The game plays much like a normal platform game with running, jumping and so on, with one important addition, it is played across both screens of the 3DS. You alternate between the screens during game play, each screen represents a different dimension, once in one dimension a ghost appears in the other. In order to overcome many obstacles in the game you have to switch between screens.
