Seriously people! Black Ops 2 is, at this moment in time, the best, most content rich multiplayer game ever released on a Nintendo system. If you enjoyed the previous CoD games on Wii, then this will be even better (did I mention it still supports Wii Remote?) and for those of you who were unimpressed by those games then this is the game you were waiting for. Once this game gets off the ground with a large enough population of frequent players it will truly be complete. However, even without those online gamers, Black Ops 2 still proves to be an amazing game that is one of the best currently avaialable on Wii U.

Black Ops II on Wii U may amount to the same experience as on other systems, but it remains an impressive game. The aging multiplayer could use more of a twist, but the campaign is top-notch, and even Zombies mode manages a few new things. In the first of what will likely be many appearances on Nintendoâs new system, the franchise delivers.

Call of Duty: Black Ops II is by far the most fleshed out Call of Duty game to date; with a whole load of content included and some lovely exclusive features, it's clear that Treyarch is committed to making the series successful on Wii U. Whilst at this point of writing the online community is fairly small, it should grow over time, especially with Christmas just around the corner. Readers who own a Wii U or are getting one should put this on their Christmas lists!

Overall, Black Ops 2 on the Wii U is easily recommendable. It proves that the Wii U can handle a modern top-tier shooter with ease, and is easily one of the best titles in the launch lineup. Unless you're buying a Wii U for the kiddies this year, you'll want to add Black Ops 2 to your new console's bundle.

Treyarch puts together a solid care package for Nintendo gamers with a very competent, competitive, and nigh complete version of Black Ops 2.

I almost prefer the Wii U version of Black Ops 2 over any other; the gamepad feels great to play with, and being able to play online with another person is a great feature.

Everything else here is easily comparable to the other console versions. Nintendo fans can finally experience a true CoD game on their console, and that is a victory in itself. Our online sessions were relatively smooth, even with the problems we had on day one with connecting to WiFi. If you only own a Wii U this is one game to pay close attention to. It is one of the better ports, and the second screen functionality becomes second nature after a while. In fact, it would be hard to play without it now. Combined with the great campaign packed in, this is definitely one of the better launch ports for the Wii U.

These changes are generally negligible. Black Ops II is just as solid, and flawed, a game as it is on other systems, and for many Nintendo die-hards, thatâs a refreshing change. Certainly donât get this if you own other versions, but if youâre not bothered by a smaller online community (or just want something else for your Wii U), youâre not really going wrong by picking up this edition.

Though zombies mode is stagnating, the rest of Black Ops II is lively, and it is right at home on the Wii U. Developer Treyarch's storytelling prowess has once again resulted in an engaging, exciting campaign, and the online multiplayer population is likely to grow as more people acquire the new console. Though it's a shame that league play is dead on arrival, there's still a lot of taut action to enjoy online, helping Black Ops II provide the Wii U with its first great shooter experience.

While it's nice to finally have a "proper" Call of Duty game on a Nintendo console that makes convenient if simple use of the GamePad, it's a shame that Black Ops II isn't one of the series' best. The futuristic setting can't save the campaign's goofy narrative and increasingly arbitrary set pieces from leaving a dour taste, but the Zombies expansions breathe new life into the undead and the robust multiplayer suite is still top of its class â even if a currently struggling player count on Wii U hampers certain playlists. Black Ops II may not knock it out of the park, but it has it where it counts.

The story mode has some technical issues but overall this is an impressive effort for a launch game, with the GamePad adding some genuine value to the experience.

Call of Duty Black Ops 2 is still the same basic game we have seen countless times before. The changes made does at least make things more interesting but the real question of this game is does it deliver a quality Call of Duty game on Nintendoâs platforms and the answer is yes, it does. Treyarch may not have made much use of the gamepad but the map and Off TV play features do at least give us a little something. Black Ops 2 is a fun game, it wonât be everyoneâs cup of tea but it is still a great game for people to play. Plus it was great that I could sensor all of the bad language in the game, itâs a small thing but itâs better then constantly hearing all the language.
