A Virus Named Tom
Description official description
Dr. X is a brilliant inventor and the creator of the city of tomorrow. He invented the mechanical dog that never poop, the teleporter, the mechanical walkway, a giant robot which killed everyone who does not use the inventions of Dr.X. OK, the last one was not the best idea because Dr. X was working for a corporation and they fired Dr.X. Of course he got upset and invented one last thing for his revenge (and the destruction of the city of tomorrow): A virus called Tom.
A Virus Named Tom is a strategic puzzle game where the player has to close the circuit so that the virus can spread out across the wiring. The different parts of the circuit can be rotated by 90 degree angles by moving the Tom around the circuit part. There is a time limit for each puzzle, displayed as the energy which Tom has available. Encountering an active defense like an AV program will drain Tom's energy and place him in a corner of the puzzle screen. As the game continues the abilities of Tom are upgraded (via E-Mail), e.g. Tom can steal energy from defenses. Some of the levels are encrypted, meaning that the player is not able to see the different parts of the circuit. This game also contains a cooperative and a versus online game mode.
