Description official description
The King has been wounded by an assassin. It is up to his sons and daughters to venture forth to the cursed castle Hamson, rumored to have a cure for any ailment.
Rogue Legacy is a real-time 2D action platformer game with minor role-playing game (RPG) elements. As a Rogue variant, the game also introduces randomly generated rooms and permadeath. However, the game introduces a unique twist: with each death, the player chooses a new heir to continue the quest. Each new heir has different abilities and skills, ranging from different strengths to weaknesses. Gold collected by a heir, upon death may be used by the new heir to build a manor, unlocking rooms which offer beneficial features.
