Maverick

Maverick is an action game with retro-style graphics. The player controls a cowboy who must make his way through 15 levels to the very bottom in order to talk to a magical pig. The cowboy cannot walk or jump, and his only way to move is through the recoil from his guns. The player must therefore keep shooting to propel the cowboy in the desired direction. The cowboy is affected by physics, such as inertia or gravity.

Perils encountered on the way include spikes and cacti, which kill the cowboy instantly and force him to respawn at the beginning of a level. Other obstacles include walls that must be shot through, and areas with changed direction and force of gravity.
