Platinum Pinball

Platinum Pinball is a rather unusual product, being a compilation of pinball compilations that is usually only available as part of other game compilations.

It consists of ten pinball tables. The first four are a collection of games from Pin-Ball Games Limited (circa 1998) and include:

• Judge Dredd: Based on the original British comic book.
• The Avengers: Based on the British TV series.
• Roswell: An alien-themed table, unrelated to the American TV series.
• World League Pinball: A soccer-themed table.

The remaining six are games Redoubt licensed from SpiderSoft that were previously released as Pinball Mania Plus (as well as in other pinball compilations). Although some of these tables were later upgraded to full 3D in Total Pinball 3D (aka Pinball 3D-VCR), these are the original 2D versions:

• Dare Devil: A stunt show-themed table.
• Jackpot: A gambling and gaming pinball table.
• Jail Break: Prison-themed pinball.
• Tarantula: SpiderSoft's signature game.
• Kick Off: Another soccer-themed table.
• The Visitors: Two FBI agents investigating UFOs.

Platinum Pinball itself exists almost exclusively as a product inside of other compilation packages published by Encore Software.
