After selecting a horse and placing their bet the player is then told whether they have won or lost.
It's quite realistic as the player often loses

The player starts with £100 and slowly but steadily loses it.
Most of us won't be able to read this but this is a shareware game so on exit only the players with really good eyesight will feel guilty if they have not paid up.
