Flight Rising

Flight Rising is a pet game and breeding simulation taking place on a planet in which dragons are the dominant species. The player manages a clan of dragons associated with one of eleven elements, called Flights. Each Flight is based around specific interests and personality traits, and new players are encouraged to choose a Flight that best matches their own personality.

Dragons come in a wide array of species and colors, and can be further customized with special markings and mutations, apparel, and wearable skins and accents. Many of these traits can be bred for, while the wearable items can be purchased in shops or earned though battling and special events. Players may also design their own skins and accents by spending real money on gems, which can then be used to buy the necessary items with which to submit their design.

Other site activities include scavenging for food and other valuable items. Dragons must be well-fed in order to maintain the energy necessary for breeding and fighting, and players earn bonuses for feeding their dragons daily. In the Coliseum, players may battle up to three of their dragons at a time against wild animals and other players' clans. Battling is one of the main ways to earn familiars, pets that can be given to dragons in order to earn bonus items and money.

Unwanted dragons can be exalted to their Flight's patron god in order to live out the rest of their lives as divine servants, permanently removing those dragons from gameplay. Each week, the Flights compete to see who can exalt the most dragons, with the winners earning gameplay bonuses for the following week.
