New World Order
Description official descriptions
New World Order is a single and multiplayer first person shooter in a near-future setting. A terrorist organization wants to take over the world and an official anti-terror team has to prevent it. The development team Termite Games made NWO especially for multiplayer sessions, where you also can play the singleplayer missions in co-op mode with a friend. The multiplayer mode features the usual game modes (deatchmatch, ctf,...) but is also a bit different from other games. At the beginning of a game, you have some weapons to choose from, but the more guys you kill, the better weapons you can buy!

Trivia
Development
The roots of the game is a project started by Insomnia Software in the late 1990s called Decay. To be published by Interplay, it was planned as a complex, Thief-like stealth shooter. In October 2000, they announced that they had to rename to Termite Games due to copyright problems. They added that Decay had been cancelled but they were working on a team-based online multiplayer game New World Order, using some content developed for Decay.
