Sega Race TV
Description
Sega Race TV is an arcade racing game presented as an American TV show with real time commentary. The game contains five stages, nine licensed cars and nine different characters and can be played in either single player or multi player. A race is made up of eight drivers and the car is viewed from a traditional third person perspective from behind. Each course has its own traps that can be used to gain an advantage and it's possible to use a boost feature to make the car quickly accelerate.
In the single player mode the objective is to compete against seven AI drivers and complete three stages. On the first stage a top three position is needed while second place is required on stage two and a first place is needed on the final stage. Upon completing the third stage a movie that is specific for the chosen character will be shown. The player will also be given a password which can be used to customize the car.
The multi player mode allows up to four machines to be linked up which means a total of eight players can race against each other. Each multi player consists of a single race with the only objective being to cross the finish line first.
