Worms: W.M.D.
Description official descriptions
Worms: W.M.D is a multiplayer artillery game in the long-running Worms series and it returns to the original 2D visual style. The basic gameplay remains identical as players take turns to take out an opposing team in environments that are affected by the impact of projectiles and a large influence for physics. New elements are classes and the ability to craft weapons by gathering parts from special crates, as well as the introduction of vehicles and stationary turrets. Also new to the series are buildings; the worms can now enter buildings to find shelter from enemy fire or sneak up on opponents.
The PC version supports up to six players in a single game, each controlling an army of eight worms, in both local and online multiplayer. The single-player campaign consists of 30 levels. There are over 80 different weapons and utilities included, with new ones such as Dodgy Phone Battery, the Unwanted Present and the OMG strike.

Trivia
Engine
After the fans' repeated claims that Worms: Armageddon was the pinnacle of the series, Team17 decided to base the engine of Worms: W.M.D. off the source code of Armageddon. The end result were noticeable similarities with Armageddon's physics.
