I grunden är det ett vanligt äventyrsspel där det gäller att hitta saker för att komma frammåt. Alonespelen tillhör de klurigare och man måste vara beredd på att det tar tid att ta sig fram.

There is also a nice balance between combat and puzzles. Although you might die during the course of the game, don't worry -- "You'll be bahk!" So if you enjoyed the previous Alone in the Dark games, you will definitely enjoy this last episode, but if you detested the earlier games, you won't find anything new enough in this one to change your mind.

All of the Trilogy's games are alike, except for the interface changes and storyline. My favorite was Alone in the Dark 3. I was expecting a little bit more from this series. It wasn't one of my favorites. Average graphics, difficult gameplay, and awkward movement and fighting hurt the trilogy. If you're into RPGs or puzzles you might like this, but don't get it for the action, because the action isn't that great. I won't say it is a terrible game, but it definitely isn't the best.
