Looney Tunes Dash! successfully utilizes the franchise’s iconic characters in exciting ways which keep the gameplay lighthearted and fun. Though replaying a level quickly gets dull thanks to strict objective requirements, the levels as a whole are diverse enough to have kept my interest as they perfectly adhere to the styles one would expect from a Looney Tunes game: fast-paced, looney, fun.

Looney Tunes Dash is another endless runner with little offer by way of originality or excitement. You could pick any title off the App Store that would do virtually the same type of thing, and you'd still benefit from it. If you don't like Looney Tunes, you'd be better suited with a different game anyway.

Looney Tunes Dash!

Adults may roll their eyes at yet another endless runner, but kids will probably have a good time with Looney Tunes Dash! The game's not difficult, which makes it accessible to kids, and the creative power-ups (which turn Bugs into a superhero or help him collect all nearby coins) are plentiful and fun. The cameos by other characters are generally bland, with the exception of Daffy Duck, who runs in front of you and takes the coins before you can get to them, and Gossamer, the hairy red monster you transform into with one power-up, who barrels through everything in his path. The push for in-app purchases is a bit heavy, but if that's disabled in the phone or tablet's settings, this is a game you can feel safe letting your child enjoy.

Looney Tunes Dash! (Free, Universal) isn’t particularly bad, but it’s unremarkable with nothing that’s specifically good, making it one to skip as it stumbles on the gameplay execution.
