Color Baseball
Description
Color Baseball is an adaptation of the sport for one or two players who compete in single matches between unnamed red and blue teams. It is possible to assign a name and a batting average for each athlete in both teams.
When the team is up to bat the player controls the batter's swing and can make a base runner steal or slide into a base by using the joystick. It is possible to switch from a right handed batter to a left handed. Swinging is done by pressing the button and the power is decided by up-down position of the joystick. When running the player is always in control of the lead base runner.
When on the field, the player controls both the pitcher and all the other players. Different pitches can be done by pulling the joystick in different directions. For example a downward pull leads to a fast pitch while a diagonal downward pull leads to a curved ball. When the ball is in the air control is automatically given to the fielder that is closest to it. Once the ball has been caught the joystick is used to choose which player to throw it to.
