A l'école d'Hector le Castor is a quite strange educational hybrid CD-ROM developed to describe the missions of the French Agence Nationale pour la gestion des Déchets Radioctifs (ANDRA), equivalent to the US Office of Civilian Radioactive Waste Management.

Animated by a funny beaver named Hector, and since the "game" is educational, Hector wants you to first know everything about radioactivity and its applications. Hence, the first step is to go to school to learn and answer quizzes. Two others mini games are included :* make the difference between high and low-level radioactive wastes, then collect them accordingly

• depending on the wastes, carefully follow the different steps to handle them, storage or decommissioning.
