Description
In this BASE jumping game players jump down from skyscrapers in a floating city, performing stunts to entertain fans and please the judges. Played from a first-person perspective, the main character can still navigate in the air during the jump. Points are scored by hugging walls or flying near a building (referred to a kissing). The path is not linear as there are often different types of structures and bonus plates that provide additional points. The general level structure also often unfolds into a complex pattern, much like an obstacle course. Later levels introduce other novelties such as bouncing pads to return to higher areas and other types of bonuses. The jump is finished off with a parachute landing that needs to be timed correctly. Based on the accuracy (landing in a circle) additional points can be scored. Not all levels are set in the futuristic city, some also take place on top of a mountain with a more rural landscape. To progress to new levels the points need to be spent to unlock new locations. From the main level selection screen the whole set of 80 levels is available and there is no strict order to complete them. Players are also encouraged to replay them as often a maximum amount of points needs to be scored to keep progressing. Later in the game additional options are introduced, such as the ability to score points by flipping off protesters or giving a thumbs-up to fans. It is also possible to pick up a spray can and deface government buildings.
