Description
You are the tutor for the young Emperor. You must guide him to uniting Japan so it will be strong.Age of Japan II is a match three game. To make a match, use your mouse to swap two items so as to create a straight row of three or more, vertically or horizontally. In addition to there being a storyline, there are other differences. Unlike its predecessor, this time, you must purchase most bonuses. You are given a sword, which you can use to remove the item from one tile. Other equipment you can get is the helmet, which can shuffle the items, the gloves, which can swap any two items, and the shin guards, which removes one fifth of the items on the board. Bonuses you can buy are the x2 that doubles the scores for a short time, the ice which freezes time for a short time and the one color's power which destroys all of one type of item on the board.
There are two game modes. In Arcade mode, it is like in the first game where you must remove the gray tiles by making a match over them. If there are gold tiles, you must match them to make them gray then match them again to clear them. You must do this before the time runs out. In Puzzle mode, you are given a list of items at the top, each with a number above them, and must clear that many of each item, again before the time runs out. In both modes, the bonus games are the same. You must clear items so as to get pieces of the artwork to the bottom of the board before time runs out.
