  1. The game is finishable, at least the Amiga version is: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qWcwkb7vmDE Altough still not sure if the DOS port just goes wacky with the hit detection near the end or I just cannot perform that precise jump.

  2. There is absolutely no music in the DOS version, with any sound device! Even with the SSI-2001 sound card: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YlmtU__glmU The .MUS files and the musician's credit might be a leftover from porting the other versions.

As you have found out for DOS, the cards were only used for sound effects, not music according to the link below - the credits don't seem to separate music and sfx on any of the platforms, so both could be by the same person.
