After having completed the first Alien Shooter on Hard difficulty I thought it got much easier towards the end, and overall could have been more of a challenge. While there's not much to like about this add-on, at least this has changed. It's very tricky!

I have completed the campaign on Easy and Medium, but can't seem to get past either mission 4 or 5 on Hard. In mission 5 you don't stand a chance without the magma gun, otherwise you'll run out of ammo for all your other guns before getting anywhere. In mission 4 you don't stand a chance against the red quadrupeds without the plasma gun. Trouble is, if I buy the plasma gun for mission 4, I don't have enough money to buy the magma gun for mission 5!

Edit: okay, I figured out that you just have to get far enough in mission 4 and you can just find the plasma gun. Once you get that far, level 4 is a breeze, and you can easily afford the magma gun for level 5, with which you can complete it in about 3 minutes... =)
