Amiga Games (Jan, 1995)
Amiga Format (Jan, 1995)
Don't get me wrong, Jungle Strike is a cracking game. In many ways it's better than Zeewolf. But, with a little more foresight and planning, it could have been a lot more fun.
The One Amiga (Dec, 1994)
Jungle Strike's a fine game, which will both prove a challenge for Desert Strike-ophiles, and a good solid blast for first bloods.
Amiga Joker (Jan, 1995)
Despite the praise heaped on the Amiga conversion of Desert Strike, I disliked it because of its hideous loading times and garish graphics which did the Amiga no justice. Thankfully both of these problems have been rectified with Jungle Strike and the result is a much more polished title that retains the excellent playability of the console original.
Amiga Bladet (Dec 09, 1994)
Elskede du Desert Strike vil du også elske Jungle Strike!
Amiga Power (Jan, 1995)
[AGA] An appreciable shoot-'em-up, but one that is clearly tailored for the shorter attention span of friend console owner. It being a console game. And everything. To my mind, if you've jolly well gone to the trouble of waiting for the thing to load, you should get more than an hour's fun out of it before it starts to get on your nerves.
Play Time (Mar, 1995)
(A500 version)
Play Time (Feb, 1995)
(A1200 version)
Pelit (Feb, 1995)
Pelattavuus olisi mailin verran parempi, jos peli tukisi edes kaksinappisia joystickeja. Nyt joutuu läpsimään välilyöntiä vaihtaakseen aseita, mikä takaa paljon aiheettomia mokia tiukoissa tilanteissa. Aseistus tuntuu paljon tehokkaammalta kuin Desert Strikessa. Manuaalissa on virheitä, kopteriin mahtuu ohjuksia enemmän kuin olisi pitänyt, ja kuollessaan saa täydet lastit ilotulitteita.
