Amiga Computing (Sep, 1991)
The first section is a little story that gives you loads of clues about how to play the game successfully and will even provide some essential advice. The rest of it is a comprehensive guide to all aspects of the controls and what everything does. However after this you are on your own to try and make it work out on the Moon's surface. I cannot urge you strongly enough to buy this game. It's ace.

Amiga Action (Aug, 1991)
The easiest way to sum up Moonbase is by telling you that it is basically Sim City on the Moon. The idea is virtually the same and anyone who has played and enjoyed Sim City will adore this spacey version of the game. The graphics are a bit poor but it doesn't detract from the game in any major way. Moonbase is also incredibly easy to use with the popular point and click system, and you'll find that you hardly need to look the manual which is quite big and excellently presented. A great game that should appeal to all those avid fans of Sim City.

Moonbase is an enjoyable simulation that'll certainly last the test of time, but there's just a nagging feeling that a little bit more could have been done with it. Hopefully, the data disks shouldn't be too far behind...

Zero (Aug, 1991)
An inferior version of Sim City which, with the arrival of the Sim City Future City Data Disk becomes fairly pointless.

Amiga Power (Aug, 1991)
A fairly run-of-the-mill sim game with a fruity lunar streak. Hardly even 'one small step' for computer games (more like running on the spot), but it's maddeningly addictive all the same (at least in the short term).

Amiga Power (Sep, 1991)
Fairly short-term entertainment, and more than a touch overpriced.

Power Play (Aug, 1991)
