Games-X (Jan 30, 1992)
The Amiga version is the best of the bunch, sporting crisp, fast moving graphics with clear and fun sound effects. The gameplay is that bit better due to the joystick control and you'll find yourself addicted in no time. Mindscape has done a great job in bringing this game to your computer and, although this certainly isn't a classic, this is a product that can be recommended to you.
Amiga Joker (Apr, 1992)
When you get going, Paperboy 2 is fun to play. However, two-layer mode is all but useless, and the conversion from the original IBM version is a bit patchy. Try before you buy!
What's the point of this tired rehash? Certainly no artistic reasons. Surely it came way too late to profit from the brand name. So there is nothing. Not bad, but ultimately pointless.
Amiga Format (Oct, 1992)
The graphics are slow, small, unappealing and they scroll jerkily. Reasonable samples make up in part of the ridiculously terrible music. Hardly any difference in gameplay or execution from the first game. Constant disk access means the game often stops completely without warning. Mindless gameplay is about as challenging as sitting down, just.
Amiga Power (Sep, 1992)
Absolutely every aspect of the programming, from the graphics to the quantity of disk accessing, is terminally flawed, however (and from Mindscape of all people), resulting in the biggest pile of an unprintable qualifier followed by an unprintable adjective ever. Don't even touch it with that really long stick which you tied onto the end of an unusually long bargepole especially for the occasion.
Play Time (Jun, 1992)
