Amiga Computing (May, 1989)
This is a game that will hold your attention and keep you entertained for some time. And that has got to represent good value for money.
Your Amiga (Jul, 1989)
Motor Massacre's major let down, to my mind, was its presentation. Both graphics and sound were not what we have to expect from Amiga games. They were merely acceptable. Having said that there were a few nice touches like the way the zombies exploded and the gameplay itself which is enough reason to give this game a go.
Commodore User (Mar, 1989)
Drive in and get out of your car and you go into an inferior Gauntlet-esque section. The best part of the game is going into the garage to spend your hard earned tokens. From the same team that brought you Technocop.
Zzap! (Apr, 1989)
Well, folks, we've seen the Amiga version (...) and the gameplay is just the same. The graphics work a lot better but the sound still leaves a lot to be desired.
Computer Gaming World (CGW) (Mar, 1989)
Road Raider has an interesting concept, an acceptable level of difficulty, and a tremendous graphics presentation. Everything, even the title screen, shows meticulous design and care.
