S.M.T.H.: Send Me to Heaven
Description
S.M.T.H., short for Send Me to Heaven, is a sports game that challenges the player to throw his phone or tablet in the air as high as possible. Entirely designed around the accelerometer, the device registers the height. The player can go for a personal best, or share the result worldwide. Results are stored in a daily, weekly and world top 10. By enabling the device's GPS function it is possible to take part in local competitions. Of course, the developer claims no responsibility when the device is damaged while playing the game. The game is described as a pervasive video game, where the actual action is leaving the gadget and leaking into reality.

Trivia
iOS version
According to the description of a promotional video for the game, the game was rejected from the Apple App Store for "encouraging behavior that could result in damage to the user's device". This may be for the best, as the developer's distaste for the way many people treat smartphones as status symbols led him to create the game in an attempt to get people to destroy their phones.
