Tony Hawk: Vert

Tony Hawk: Vert is a game where players take control of a skateboarder who skates around a half-pipe. There are two modes in the game: Challenge and Free Ride. The former mode starts with a tutorial and then gives player a list of objectives to do with each new level, while the latter gives players total freedom but ends if the skater falls over three times. The skater can do a variety of tricks, including grinds and balance tricks by pressing a key on his mobile device. If players get too high in the air, they will be shown a cutscene of the skater going to heaven and back and get a bonus score. Players may also collide with obstacles like birds which will make them lose their speed and how high they can get.

Due to taking place around a half-pipe, the game features an interesting vertical perspective with the skater going from one end of the pipe to the other and players being able to move him sideways only.

Two mini-games may also be played:* Star Reporter: players aim the camera to take a picture of the skater doing a trick. The better the shot is, the more points players will earn.

• Crowd Teaser: the crowd names a trick and players must do this trick to please their crowd.
