I have this one (a later release) in my collection;

The US release, right or US/Canada?

PS: I was wondering something; if you look at the release info (http://www.mobygames.com/game/bcs-quest-for-tires/release-info) it says that it was 1984 when the game was released for the C64. However, if you look here (http://www.mobygames.com/game/bcs-quest-for-tires/cover-art/gameCoverId,72996/) , http://www.mobygames.com/game/bcs-quest-for-tires/cover-art/gameCoverId,72997/ and even here (although it is a disk release) http://www.mobygames.com/game/bcs-quest-for-tires/cover-art/gameCoverId,249445/ it says 1983. Can someone explain this?

The copyright date on a product doesn't always correctly match the date of release. You can copyright something in November and then finally release it in January. I can't say however if that was the case here or what the source for the 1984 release date is. I do see that the earliest magazine review we have on file for the C64 is from March 84.

Yeah. It could be possible that they are using 1983 because it was the date when they published the original game. Because if you look at a screenshot of the ZX Spectrum release its says 1983 as well. (http://www.mobygames.com/game/zx-spectrum/bcs-quest-for-tires/screenshots/gameShotId,194109/) However, the PC Booter and the MSX does not do this.

Interestingly enough are these facts;

1) if you look at the back cover and the 5.25 disk of the PC Booter you will notice that it also says 1983.

2) They've use the same box for each version. Not to mention the fact that the 5.25 disk for the C64 and the one of the PC booter; are the same.

Edit: Sorry if I am not very clear.
