The expansion pack to Microsoft's Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game (MMORPG) builds upon the original by adding the ability to buy your own castle to live in while not out hunting, as well as a new world to explore and build your skills.

Unlike some MMORPG's, there is an actual storyline to be told, and every so often a further part of the story is uploaded for all players to see, as well as new missions that can be completed and new items to collect along the way. Dark Majesty opens a new area to explore, the island of Marae Lassel ("The Sheltering Isle") which includes new monsters and buildings exclusive to the pack.

The main aim of the game is to increase your experience and power, much like any RPG of its type. You can talk to fellow gamers while online or create an allegiance with other players.

The best part is, you don't need to buy the original Asheron's Call to play.
