Golf would have been awesome with multiple courses or randomized hazards, but it's still worthwhile just as it is. Rumor has it that Tiger Woods himself honed his game by playing Golf on the Atari 2600.
Oldies Rising (Jul 21, 2014)

Golf captures all of the patience-trying virtues of real-life golf. Although I enjoyed my fair share of the golf game in WiiSports, I’ve never been a huge fan of either virtual or real-life golf, so I doubt I’ll be playing this version often. Fans of video golf, however, may be pleased to know there is a playable – albeit primitive – version of the game for the 2600.
