American Videogame Tax Avoiders purports to have a political bureaucratic theme, but displays a visually abysmal arena chock full of poor execution. It's analogy to finance is blurred by it's manic oddity. It comes off as very generic and annoying.

Without a doubt, Tax Avoiders is one of the worst games I have ever played for the VCS. From the ridiculous premise, to the horrible controls and recycled graphics and sounds, the game just screams "terrible" from the moment you hit the power switch. I honestly cannot recommend this game to anyone, aside from collectors who are trying to build a complete VCS collection. If you're not one of them, stay away from this travesty.

In the spirit of the game, I declare Tax Avoiders creatively bankrupt and a poor return on investment.

Tax Avoiders is a novelty title with "bargain bin" written all over it. Repetitive, random, and sloppy as hell, this is what happens when a bunch of bad ideas come together.
