Barely different from the Amiga, graphics are a little smaller and marginally less colourful, and scrolling slows down for a moment occasionally, though this is hardly perceptible within the game. Sound effects and music are standard ST fare and jolly everything along. A stirring game from Domark.
The One (Jul, 1989)
Each section if different enough from the last to maintain variety, and at times the action can get a little too hot to handle - but that's nothing that practice won't cure. At last, a Bond game that will be appreciated by 007 fans and arcade addicts alike. "Q" would be chuffed.
[Budget re-release] Still what is there is great entertainment and well worth the asking price.
The fast and challenging action and excellent graphics and sound make this by far the best Bond game to date, and it's a brilliant game in its own right. Look it up.
ST Format (Aug, 1989)
Plotwise it's not what you'd call an original concept, but the game is presented well and has enough addictive qualities to keep you busy and frustrated for a long time.
Licence To Kill offers six fairly amusing arcade challenges. Two of them are disappointingly easy (levels 1 to 6) and the others present a mixed bag that would rarely present a serious challenge to a skilled player. Despite a high standard for graphics and sound, those who are not committed Bond fans should play before they pay.
Vom blo├čen Spiel her k├Ânnte man kaum unterscheiden, auf welchem 16-Bitter man gerade spielt.
Play Time (Jul, 1991)
